Water Token takes its shape from a pearl set above a small ridged cylinder, drawn from the old practice among Mediterranean sailors of carrying a single coin marked and set aside before a voyage, kept separate from all other money and never spent, meant only to be handed over as passage should the ship not make it home, a private arrangement made with the sea before ever setting out. In Green Aventurine, the cylinder holds the muted sea green of a coin long carried and worn smooth by handling, while Yellow Aventurine carries a warmer variation, gold catching the way metal might after years kept close in a pocket, and the Pearl above either holds the sailor's own quiet hope, small and pale, that the coin would never need to be spent at all. The design holds that same arrangement carried onto open water, a small fare set aside, to be brought home again.

Our gold jewelry is hand-crafted in 18K gold on brass. To avoid oxidization of the gold plating, avoid extended direct contact with water, cleaning solutions and perfumes. For best care, store your jewellery in the provided original packaging.
