The necklace takes its shape from the ring of gold circling the stone like a raised sun disc, drawn from the Egyptian myth in which the fierce lioness goddess Sekhmet is soothed by a flood of red beer along the banks of the Nile, and upon drinking it she falls into a peaceful sleep, waking transformed into Hathor, goddess of love, joy, and music, her strength now turned gentle. In Serpentine, the stone holds the green of the Nile's fields flourishing under her calmer watch, while Strawberry Quartz carries the soft rose of that same river once it turned from flood into blessing. Sekhmet Halo holds that same turn from fire to warmth, strength made gentle without being lessened, worn as though a small sun once fierce had settled into something that gives light freely.

Our gold jewelry is hand-crafted in 18K gold on brass. To avoid oxidization of the gold plating, avoid extended direct contact with water, cleaning solutions and perfumes. For best care, store your jewellery in the provided original packaging.
