Gold Sigil takes its shape from a single square seal set above a hanging pearl, drawn from the Breton legend of Ys, a magnificent walled city built below sea level along the coast of France and protected by great gates that were opened one stormy night, letting the ocean rush in and swallow the city whole, its bells said to still ring faintly beneath the waves whenever the sea grows calm enough to listen. In Garnet, the square holds the deep red of the city's gates at the moment they gave way, a seal of what once kept the water out, while the Pearl hanging beneath it carries a single note of that submerged bell, small and pale, still sounding somewhere below the surface. Gold Sigil holds that same seal placed over something lost, worn close to the ear as though it might, on the right kind of quiet day, let the wearer hear the city still ringing beneath the water.

Our gold jewelry is hand-crafted in 18K gold on brass. To avoid oxidization of the gold plating, avoid extended direct contact with water, cleaning solutions and perfumes. For best care, store your jewellery in the provided original packaging.
