The Crest takes its shape from a jewel held fast within a looping frame, drawn from the Egyptian myth of Ra crossing the sky each day in his solar barque before sailing through the underworld each night along a river said to mirror the Nile itself, guarded against Apophis, the great serpent of chaos who rose from the water to try to swallow the sun before dawn could return it to the sky. In Tanzanite, the central stone holds the deep violet blue of that night river, the underworld waters Ra crossed while hidden from sight, while Clear Quartz carries the bright, unclouded light of the sun itself, safely carried through danger and restored each morning to the sky. Ra Crest holds that same jewel caught mid journey, framed and encircled the way the barque was said to be guarded through darkness, worn as though carrying a small, protected sun safely across water that tried each night to keep it.

Our gold jewelry is hand-crafted in 18K gold on brass. To avoid oxidization of the gold plating, avoid extended direct contact with water, cleaning solutions and perfumes. For best care, store your jewellery in the provided original packaging.
