Viridian Axis takes its shape from a small oval set beside a single clear point, drawn from the Cornish folklore of the Bucca, a sea spirit believed to live along Britain's rocky southwestern coast, appeased by fishermen who left small offerings of fish and bread on the shore before each voyage in exchange for calm water and a safe return. In Labradorite, the central stone holds the shifting blue green flash of deep water disturbed by the Bucca's passing, while Green Onyx carries a stiller, more settled sea, calm water left undisturbed after the offering has been accepted, and Crystal beside either stone holds a single point of clear light, the small gift itself, plain and unadorned. The earrings hold that same quiet exchange between sea and shore, one steady stone and one small offering worn together, close to the ear, carrying the old promise of safe passage kept between the water and those who respected it.

Our gold jewelry is hand-crafted in 18K gold on brass. To avoid oxidization of the gold plating, avoid extended direct contact with water, cleaning solutions and perfumes. For best care, store your jewellery in the provided original packaging.
